Principles of Direct Meditation
- Acknowledgment that all creation is part of a greater Universal Intelligence and whole - and that all mankind is created equal.
- A preparedness to accept that there are greater things beyond our normal material world - and current levels of consciousness.
- Direct Meditation is non-denominational; there is no ritual, rigour, faith, religion, dogma, teaching or creed.
- Direct Meditation is neither a sect, nor an esoteric spiritual movement.
- Direct Meditation will not be encumbered by unnecessary bureaucracy or infrastructure.
- All people who participate will not be judged and will treat all other participants as equal - as they would expect to be treated as equal themselves.
- All members will respect one another, avoid personally criticising each other, either directly or indirectly, except where such criticism is of a constructive nature and acceptable by the recipient.
- All members will aspire to be examples to others in terms of their behaviour, conduct, hospitality, goodwill and selflessness.
- All members will not push, coerce or persuade other people to practice the Direct Meditation technique.
- All other people’s views will be respected.
- All members will not be driven by false modesty, spiritual pride, ego nor a desire to ‘prove themselves’ - forever remaining aware that in the greater scheme of things, these very traits are of themselves inner blockages.
